When doing shadow drills, I like to alternate backhands and forehands while keeping my feet moving. This helps build quickness on the court while increasing overall agility. Additionally, if I’m feeling tired or fatigued after any drill, I’ll take short breaks to rest up before jumping back into the action again. This allows me to keep working hard without overdoing it.
Transitioning from these shadow drills into serve drills can be done through a few practice serves; focusing on both power and placement for maximum effectiveness when serving in a real-life match scenario.
